|Between coming in to ourselves, coming out to others, learning to navigate public & private spaces, and really embracing our identities, we LGBTQ folks are often on a lifelong journey. At the same time, while negotiating straight spaces like many therapy offices, we can often be misunderstood, othered, and harmed. It’s easy to see why not enough LGBTQ+ folks are getting the mental health care we need!
At Panorama Therapy, Miranda Nadeau PhD provides a safe container for folks living outside the heteronormative lens to explore their identity and self-expression. We encourage diversity and embrace uniqueness. However you experience or identify or express yourself, we support you and want to further uplift you. Our approach to serving you comes from a place of experience and understanding.
Explore your sexuality and every other facet of your life in a space where you’re not only accepted but understood. Or continue learning here with some resources we put together just for you.
|Miranda Nadeau PhD believes that to live as a transgender or gender expansive person is to live with courage and ferocity, no matter how loudly. Imagine being seen for who you are within the expansive panorama that we strive for at Panorama Therapy. Trans* folks, we believe that you and your journey should be honored.

Many BIPOC carry a legacy of trauma and continue to face race-related and other trauma throughout life. We all need help and healing, yet it’s easy to be discouraged away from mental health, a white-washed field with a terrible track record. We get it. We co-create a space that empowers you to live authentically and fully, no educating necessary. We’re here for your liberation and your community’s liberation.
If you are Mixed race or multiracial, you probably know all about nuance and complexity…about being somewhere in the spectrum of a panorama…about navigating and embracing duality and multiplicity. About not fitting into neat, distinct categories and struggling to be validated, understood, or to have a voice. At Panorama Therapy, we do too. As a multiracial woman of color, Miranda Nadeau PhD especially enjoys working with clients who are navigating the multiracial or Mixed journey.

You might wonder: What does it mean to face misguided societal ideas about a “model minority” while still striving to succeed, to face intergenerational trauma with limited spaces to heal, to navigate family demands & obligations in a wider culture that may not “get” it? As a Taiwanese American who has asked many of the same questions, Dr. Miranda Nadeau of Panorama Therapy works to deeply understand the experiences of diverse Asian Americans across the country and especially in 32 states.
We know it’s hard enough to do the work of therapy, without also having to explain your family culture, justify your values, defend your experiences of oppression, and keep your racial identity from being erased or over-dramatized. We get that.

Good Faith Estimate
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
